 I'm not expecting many people to understand the title (most will probably believe I've just got it wrong). I originally had the idea for this for the Misquote challenge but could not get the combination of interesting clouds with a plane. I remember reading this quote in an aviation safety magazine many years ago that stated pilots need to remember that regardless of what instruments they have ‘every cloud has a silver (commercial jet) liner’ and that they need to be cautious when entering meteorological conditions.

I got lucky with a storm front passing after a week of relatively clear weather and drove 50kms to get the shot I wanted. I’m very happy with this and yes – there’s a fair amount of Topaz happening but this is how I envisioned the shot when taking it. I would love this to get into the 6’s but realistically; I’m expecting low 5’s due to the PP style and misinterpretation of the title. This is one of my favourites anyway and I hope some other’s might enjoy it too.

Very stormy. Having the aircraft in the center gives it a focal point. It's a little detail that is not visible in the thumbnail.
I feel that including a horizon line would have improved the image a little, but maybe what was there would detract from the simplicity of the minimal effect with just the airplane to anchor the shot.
