Wonderful balance in both photograph and title, and in both photograph and title together. Who uses "baleful?" People who see dog faces everywhere, I expect.
My goodness: the iterated round tops of the hay bales are like magnets, pulling all the light and all the gloom (and the energy that light and gloom make together) right down into the middle of that dark belt where the trees meet the earth. |

this is almost to dark in your tones IMO and all definition of the clouds is lost, could that be from to much of a noise reducing software??? |

Great composition, although the extreme contrast renders the bales almost invisible. I might have dodged them a bit. |
