Nice job on the self portrait. I like these portraits with "hard" lighting and "hard" shadows. Makes it a more interesting image, IMO. Keep experimenting with lighting. |

I like the colors and composition used for this photo. I do wish there was a bit more light on the left side of the face. At least on my monitor, I'm seeing a reflection in the eyeball, but not the details, which is a bit distracting to me. |

I think he needs either a splash of light on his cheek or stronger catchlights in his eyes, something to put shape into that shadow. |

Terrific lighting. But there is something in the processing (which I also get, and don't know how to fix), which creates blotchy patches of color in an unattractive manner - especially on the face. |
