| This could have been a contender - with the right costume (or at least a white, billowy shirt) and hat.. the lighting is fabulous and the profile is wonderful. |

| Great pose and portrait - it doesn't really scream 'pirate' to me but I am impressed with the dedication of growing that beard on the off chance. If I was being really picky, I would say that the artefact over his left shoulder could probably have gone without incurring a DQ. |

I would have either lightened the background so the audience could see it better, or clone it out completely.
But I love side profiles! Nicely done. |
