I am surprised at this finish and the average score of 6. I ranked it much higher. The dof and sky coloring was very good. the detail in the image I thought came through well and it certainly represented the subject matter. I had already commented on the Flag, but truely feely the pop of the flags color against its surroundings was a solid capture. |

I think this would be awesome at a b&w with the colored flag or all in b&w. |

The lengths some people will go to for a ribbon... building this in the backyard, tying their wife / gf to the mast until she goes yellow... Nicely exposed though (the photo that is). |

The color red was used by those who gave no quarter - meaning you were killed even if you surrendered - thus you might as well fight to the death. I can find no evidence of this particular flag ever being flown representing a specific pirate. It is typically represented as a Carribean Pirate Flag. It is also my favorite pirate flag. |
