 This challenge definately occupied my head for the whole week !! After a few trial of macro pictures that were not successful at all, I discovered almost by mistake that my beetle (Eugénie) was looking great when inverted (of course, it does also look great normally !! =) But I like the copper-gold color !). Using an old picture, I noticed it was really well contrasting with trees and the dark generated by white skies.
Luckily, Sunday's sky was purely white, and I decided to go for a ride, looking for this kind of S-shaped road...
Inversion, levels & contrast, and noise reduction were enough for the postprocessing !

I think the result is great ! Hope voters will think the same !!

This was my top pic of the challenge - dynamic, alive, aesthetically pleasing, and thoroughly interesting. Shame not to see it on the DPC front page, but at least you now have a PB.
