technically flawed, but think about it.

I had given up on this challenge, and then on my way home at about 1045, got this idea while thinking about recent forum threads. So I had about 50 min. to set up from scratch, shoot, real quick editing and submit. Wish I had a lot more time, but i really wanted to submit this idea. :-)

Good thought, well expressed. The presentation could be better, after all, this is a place more concerned with presentation than ideas. I hope you had an opportunity to revisit this one and do justice to the subject. I like how 4 words express things that are visual and 2 express personhood. Gene fits into both groups.
Good luck thinking up new challenge entries.

Although technically lacking, this image is perfect for the challenge and makes an important point. Focus could be a bit sharper and lighting a bit less harsh on the left side, but still effective in its own right. :o)

Looks oversharpened and/or out of focus.

while i get the concept, the execution could use a little more work. the words would be easier to read if they had been printed out instead of handwritten. also, portraits tend to work better if the head isn't cropped off the top.

Whatever else that can be said about this, I find that JPEG compression artifacts and noise distract from the shot.

i'm thinking... i'm thinking...um, 2. Sorry, the quality is quite lacking, but it's very philosophical.

I like the message... I am me above all else. The photo isn't very clear. I don't know where the dark lines around the hands and around the sign come from but hopefully some of the good photographers around here can tell you what it is and how to get rid of it :)

I have, and I feel that I keep missing the point.
That aside, This image looks a bit grainy and out of focus to me.
