and if you look closely at the tree skeletons you will see more poppy skeletons growing beneath them. Recursive skeletons?
Color works well to provide the overall life/death contrast.

It's a really nice photo and I like how the light falls from above, but the noise kind of ruins it. |

This has a cool "brain" feel to it. It's too bad there is so much noise in the background, with is really taking away from the overall photo. |
