| A pile of rocks showing balance (meets the challenge) has good lighting and works well in B/W but also is a little bland for my taste. |

| Simple and elegant. Has a very zen-like beauty to it. I like the shallow DOF you used and use of b&w. Maybe some tighter framing to emphasize the subject more and remove some of the foreground may have helped? Nice shot regardless. |

| I think the centred composition works well and the border too. The lighting is excellent and the depth of field works well. I also like the way the background is split between light and dark across the middle on the same plane as the large flat rock. |
