I know I'll get hammered but I was playing with the strobe function on the 580exII
Strobe set at #3, 20Hz, power 1/64 with 2 flashes.

Excellent multiple exposure in one frame. My fav in the challenge.

This could be a cool image, but I think the lighting lets the shot down. It's too direct, too harsh, and too flat. I would have moved the main light far camera left, almost pointing directly down the blade (I would have made this light much softer/diffused too). Then I would have added a relatively harsh (but still not bare bulb) light behind and camera left of the subject, slightly higher than the subject, to add a rim light.
