 Tried to ID this but failed with my usual sources. Somewhat orchid-like. The flowers are hairy and rather small (maybe an inch) and were growing in a meadow with Goldenrod and wild Asters.

Had the 2x teleconverter on, so manual focus.

Your flowers! That is tack sharp and the velvety green to black bokeh is almost edible!!!! The diagonal. Mary - this has everything!
