This image was my initial entry, but after a couple days of looking at it here, I still liked it, but eventually felt it was too grainy for a challenge (mostly the upper-right area), so I re-shot with a similar setup on the last day of the challenge. This is a cropped and 90-degree-rotated version of the previous image in this series:
When trying to come up with a title, I ran across this definition online:
ANALEPSIS: The recovery into consciousness of unconscious, repressed or forgotten material.
How the title relates to the image... is that this image is a re-creation of a similar kind of image that I took nearly 10 years earlier and the idea to shoot it came to me after a bit of pondering about subjects for this challenge. The word seems to carry other meanings, too, so I wasn't really that happy with the title. Re-shooting and choosing a different image also helped me come up with a more satisfying/fitting title for my replacement entry, even if it felt a little cliche.
