Greetings from the Critique Club :-)
A interesting take on this challenge. The technical aspects of the image is done very well. The shallow DoF is excellent, I like the angle of the image. The empty space to the left doesn't really do anything for the image, might had cropped it out tighter to the edge of the table which would had put the hand and the wheel of the machine off center more like rules of thirds. I had a little problem tying the image to the challenge as fill flash. I didn't hit it hard for that while voting. The image scored well in its own right. Nice job! |

Very nice indeed - I like the tones and colours and composition of this one - but (if I'm correct and this is fom somewhere in Asia) I also like to see a picture from the so called third world which doesn't convey grinding poverty and despair - 10 |

Meets Challenge 10 Impact 8 Technicals 7 Processing 8 Creativity 7 Total (weighted) 8
Unusual shot for a challenge like this but I think it works. My only niggle is the green material on the left a tighter crop could have got rid of this. |
