This is inside our upright piano. Setting up the tripod was quite difficult but the rest was straight forward. Remote trigger, camera set to Av at the settings listed below (or above – can’t remember how this appears). Long exposure noise reduction and mirror lock up set in the camera. I’ve played a bit in Topaz and Photoshop to try and get the effect I want but can’t quite get there. At first I rather liked this shot but the more I look at it the more it disappoints. I feel I could rescue it with descent PP but I don’t have the time or skill – sigh.

When I first took this I thought I had my next PB but realistically I’d be happy if it makes it in the 5’s. Prediction is 5.3xxx

Nice shot. Seeing the inside is different. I like the motion and the feel of the pounding.

I can see there is music in the air but the beige looking ivories just don't tickle my interest. I can see how this challenge can be difficult trying to grasp a visual that has no sound and making it pound a note or two. You followed the theme very well. I would have liked the bottom right corner to be without that wooden line directed out of the photo. My favorite part is the green at the top with some bit of rounded metal reflection. Thanks for the entry and good luck.
