Saw this on my way to an engagement party.
[Oct. 19th, 2010 09:01:54 AM]
Did not have time to do any adjustments. As I drove by the sign, I decided that it woud be my best chance at an entry. We were late already, I was taking my daughter to the engagement party, where she was to sing. When I told her that I was stopping to take some photo's, she decided that she would walk along the road so long. Expecting to get to the farmhouse long before the cameraman I suspect. The farmhouse was about 700m away. Soooo, I stopped, got the camera out, took 3 quick photo's and had to be real quick about it, as I thought that my daughter walking in the road would add something to the picture. Luckely my wife was ill and could not go with, as I would not have been allowed to stop, had she been there. And we would have been early, not late. I love her dearly. |

Cute idea. The person in the suit looks a little out of place, lol. |

Nice but the composition feels slightly off to me. The road almost leads my eye to the light green bush more than the person in the distance. |

I like the lightning used, but wish the "y" wasn't covered.
The guy at the back looks a bit creepy ..! |

Nice way of portraying the use of chalk here. Maybe the 2 birthday children running with balloons in hands up that path would have really given this scene a warm touch. Ligthing handled well. Looking for more depth/focus on the rock and maybe slightly more out of focus background. That one figure is at the moment not making this work better. Still some really good thinking into this. Like it |
