They are putting in hundreds of these windmills in the dry farms in the foothills by my parents house. When I was up photographing them I saw this old combine at the foot of one of these windmills and new I had to trespass to get the shot. But it was worth it! I didn't have to edit much, lightened in raw, then bumped up the saturation especially the cyans and the reds. Straitened the horizon a touch and sharpened the windmills so that you can see them a littl clearer. The remarkable colors mostly come from nature and the fact that I was photographing during an amazing sunset, behind me. Just for fun here is a picture showing just how close this combine was to a windmill!
