This is my first ever star trails attempt taken in the West Australian country side. I work in the mines for various lengths of time, couldn't wait to get home for my week off and take some night shots. The night I got back I headed bush.
I shot this picture in one minute intervals for ten minutes, so didn't get extremely long trails happening, but this was just an experiment, I am relatively pleased with the result. I want to try shooting in ten minute intervals next time. I used the bulb setting and an r6 remote as my trigger.

I just like this photo for its crisp forground counter balanced by the starscape earth rotation blur. First rating this challenge so I will start yours as a baseline and give it a comfortable 7. Good luck

I normally don't like these shots but this one just seems to work for the challenge.
