Looked like a CSI evidence photo at first :). If it's the right fungus, you can make a nice salad from it (though this one looks a bit old, you need a younger specimen). But OK, when it comes to fungi, you should ask an expert and not trust a dpc comment :).

My first thought was a dinosaur egg. I like the duotone. Makes us study the textures. |

that's exactly what I thought when I first saw it. it looks like a human skull. The grain is nice and very fitting as well. I high contrast black and white might be interesting to give it that spooky Halloween feel as well. Very nice find. |
