It was hard to get a good shot in focus of my own eye while I was doing the camera work. I Desaturated the red's and the Magenta color and it got rid of everything but My eye.

Greetings from the Critique Club :)

Jeremy, this is a great macro shot... I think th desaturation of everything but the blue works fairly well in this image. I don't believe there is really anything that I would change abou this image... One of the things that I do believe could be a problem here is the desaturation itself. You got several comments about the editing and how it was done legally. In my experience at DPC, I believe that the voter in general will score lower if they believe you have broken any rules. I can't remember if this photo got any DQ requests or not, but I believe that it did. It's unfortunate that a large number of people here don't have the understanding of what can and can't be done within the rules of the challenge. The modifications that you did do add some interest to the photo, IMO. In most cases, I try to avoid edits that could draw suspicion, no matter how simple they may be for this reason.

Keep up the great work :)

Is Visions also the name of the contact lens company? Just curious if it was a double play on words.
I like how the rest of the image is desaturated to bring the viewers eye directly to the .. well to the eye! :)
The focus and composition are all excellent as well.

Looks like contacts to me. Nice clear shot. Good texture photo. I just don't like B&W with colorization on part of it. Other wise real decent photo technically speaking. PTL 5

Great photo, really nice detail. I like the way you've desaturated all the channels but blue. This really stands out as a great photo.

Great macro! Unusual looking contact lens. It doesn't look very natural. Pretty blue color, though.

Very unique effect but reflection kills the benefit.

Wow nice macro shot. You can see the contact amazingly. I'm not sure I care for it overall though. As far as quality of the picture though, well done.
