The action is good, but the image quality leaves a lot to be desired.

Too much grain. And by not showing more of the ground, you take away some perspective away from the catch. And there is a tad bit too much motion blur.

The noise really hurts. If this were better focus and less noisy, you'd have a great shot

Nice capture but the image is too noisy.

A good moment captured, but technically the overall quality of this shot is very poor. No depth, too much in background, pixellated, noisy.

for me either this needs alot more grain added OR it really needs a noise reducing software...as it is way to noisy for me

cool action shot, it's a bit grainy though

Artistically lousy, and I'm sure you know that. High ISO grain, background clutter, etc. However, this needs to be evaluated as what it is, sports photography. What this is is a very good capture of a moment that cannot be repeated. It would look just fine printed in a newspaper. Gets an 8 from me for what you accomplished. I expect you will get creamed by others, however.
