I also took a picture of a chocolate-dipped strawberry, but wasn't satisfied with the results. So therefore, I didn't enter it into the challenge. But this one truly deserves the ribbon it won!! Good job! Very appetizing indeed!!

Thanks to everyone who voted, Im really excited about my first ribbon! Now that I got the taste I want more!! :) There were actually things about this shot which still bother me but oh well, i was bound to the basic editing rules. I have an outtake which I will probably post up

Congrats on your first ribbon! It's obviously not going to be your last. You pulled this off using a strawberry, for crying out loud- one of the most common subjects in this group!
The majority of this site's members have never achieved your AVERAGE score (across your first 3 challenges). What a way to start! Oh... I can see you're going to be trouble. ;-) |

| This one is definitely my favorite of the chocolate/strawberry combinations. The fruit is pretty and appetizing and the chocolate looks fresh and creamy. The background color is a good choice, I think. The lighting is very nicely done. Great job. |

| nice photo but I would have used a slightly darker chocolate. I find this adds a great affect to the red strawberry. nice background, great color clarity and sharpness. also a nice touch with the dripping chocolate. <8> |

| There were many strawberry dipped in chocolate shots. This is my favorite of the lot and one of my favorites of the whole challenge. The background is very nice!! |

| Beautifully done! So luscious I want to lick my screen! You've captured texture and colour beautifully and the background works surprisingly well. The droplet too is just the right length and shape. Composition, with the angle of the strawberry just so, is excellent. A really professional image. |

| I like the gradient color in the background - it compliments the colors and shades of the strawberry. It's a good close up, well positioned in the frame. The touch of green breaks up the red nicely. The drip is good too, it gives it a sense of anticipation. The only nitpick is the focus - when I view it as a whole and quickly then it seems fine, but if I look at it longer then I notice the chocolate drip is out of focus and so are the green leaves. Overall I like it, probably the better of the dipped strawberry shots. |

| Great picture - the chocolate and strawberry both look very appetizing. The lighting and composition are really good. I think a different color background would have really made this picture a 10. |
