Definitely adds. I'm finding that in general, an image that has stuff to look at all over benefits from an overlay/pp that helps the eye focus somewhere in it. |

Nice texture framing the top and sides - makes me think of burnished/tarnished gold which perfectly complements the golden hills of this landscape. |

I really like these pictures of the windmills...I think they are little sentinels ...I almost think that this could stand a bit more overlay in the center of this...really like it alot |

The overlay works for this image because it brings out the sloping hills. |

Oh the layers add so much~ I just love that grungy edge/vignette. It pulls our eye in. It encapsulates the landscape so well. LOVE IT. |

It's a constant struggle to find ways to get out energy. Windmill farms have their pros & cons. No pollution but plenty of noise, headaches for some in close proximity, etc. They do look pretty in some areas (here for instance) and like eyesores in other places. |
