Before I read your notes I hadn't even noticed your tent, although I suppose it would have soon made itself apparent, and it does add an element of narrative to the scene. But first off it's the colors in the sky and those inward leaning vertical conifers that grab attention. |

Colors are amazing. Like the others have said, the tent doesn't detract, adds an element to the POV and like tph1 said, a sense of what you were doing. |

The tent is OK. It gives a sense of what you are up to. Adds a sense of solitude. This one gives me a chill though! |

I too like the color of the sky and snow. The tent is no problem especially since nobody is voting on this. I've only done tent camping in the winter ONCE! Enough said. :-) |

This is definitely a grand "wake up" shot. I feel that the tent gives the photo a story, instead of it just being a generic landscape/sunrise. That's a pretty sky. I like the hint of pink in the snow. |
