 The bowl up higher from my campsite. The clouds were really hauling up here, as it was windy and at the edge of a storm. I've always loved this look to mountains.

To clarify-
Yeah, that's me. And yes, as well, the snow is pretty deep here. Those bushes are normally about up to my chest, and I'm about 6'1. I'm wearing my snowshoes in this shot to keep from sinking. I really do love when you can see storms coming in over the peaks like this. It adds to the mystique of the mountains for me. Or, at least I love to see this when I'm not climbing up them. There are few things as awesome to me as being on a summit and seeing incoming weather, performing a hasty retreat, and then having the clouds and storm literally roll down the slopes of the mountain onto you. It's really surreal because the clouds flow like water.

I really like the visual cues of weather/elements of the mountain; the clouds, the angle of the bare brush, looks like the snow could be deep. Another element to like about the photo is how the climber (you?) has an ear to ear grin, just embracing the environment. Nice pic.

I love the light in this one with the band of sunlight in the distance and the mountains just peaking through the cloud cover. Must have been quite the trip.
