Well, I know this will end up doing pretty badly, as anything that relies on its quirkiness just doesn't do well here at DPC. But, I ended up liking the final result, so I'm in for my punishment.
The idea here should be obvious. We have our three main colors used in the computer world, and three facial emotions to go along with them. I setup a flash for this off camera, but forgot to diffuse it, so the lighting is a bit harsh and reflective. I'm sure that won't help my cause.
Post Processing:
* Cropped all three to the same dimensions
* Brought up exposure, recovery, black point, and brightness
* Brought up definition
* Increase saturation with decreased vibrancy
* Increased highlights and shadows
* Used curves to do the color cast
* Retouch top remove to very bright spots (reflections from the flash)
* Burn highlights on skin to reduce glare
* Exported
* Resized and added to a black background
* Saved for web |
