The bit of rock in the top corner sort of anchors this one to reality, instead of it just being a total abstract of the ice. It's an interesting look at the natural world in action.
We very rarely see any kind of ice like this where I live, and then it's only where there is very shallow water in manmade things like bird baths.

I like the crystals; just have trouble thinking of them as shapes. Guess geometry was too long ago.

Fabulously colored abstract. Nice lines and textures. Although there are no consistent shapes, it works for me. The light does wonders. 7
