 Sometimes I'm just walking around with my camera & an empty mind just shooting pictures at random for no reason. I take them home & look at them on the computer screen & they don't mean anything to me. Then months later I might be looking at them for no reason & one of them just hits me. Like someone else took the picture. This is one of those. I know, because I took the picture, that this little bird was part of a family group, a straggler. But in this picture it's just one little bird hurrying away to somewhere else down the beach. One bird, one tree, one stick, one leaf, & some footprints.

Gives me a real feel of being there while the bird is actually running away by its position and body language, good timing

Aawww! Poor lonely bird! Fall at the beach is so depressing. Who's going to give him cheesy puffs?

I like that this has single things. A leaf, a bird, an old piece of wood. It draws me in and forces me to study it. Nice going.
