I'll admit that it's taken me this long. I didn't get it during voting but it was worth the wait. "There is melancholy in the wind and sorrow in the grass". I see the beauty now. |

Pinhole!!!!! Something else on my list of things to try someday. Homemade?
I am always saddened by how many people don't appreciate this type of image. And then heartened by the number of those who do :-) Exquisite. |

Oh. Lovely, even before the lovely title, before the poetry, before Neruda. |

Hope lives in small spaces
flies its whispered banners there
Life is lived in quiet places
a hearth, a heart, a bowl, a chair
The empty crosses on the hilltops
proclaim not faith but mortal fear
The lines of laundry are our triumph
proof of life and everywhere |

I admit of not getting the connection with the title, but it doesn't bother me too much, as I like the play of dark/bright laundry on top of the bright/dark wall. It says "shapes" to me. |

Pablo veijo, rest his soul, would approve.
Mario joven just begged to be quoted.
I'd trim the paring sky and lose myself in some crack in the ruins. Still,
your Beatrice, Boukolikos, is no loose change,
despite the company. You should
take her out and hang her high. |

This has a very familiar atmosphere to it...Les?
If I'm wrong (who ever you are) Take this as a compliment.
Is the title your invention or a quote? seems to me I've seen or heard this line some time ago.

This is wondrous image of shaped light and shadow, I attempted to capture lights, darks, whites, and blacks in meaningful way this week, but failed. Your success puts a smile on my face. 10 |
