This pic was shot back in Oct 13th with my iPhone4.

I haven't had time to actually go out and take pictures for this SC lately, so I'm cheating a bit with this shot from several weeks ago.

ETA: This is a somewhat bitter sweet special photograph of Dany for me. We did call him (conventional pronunciation) "Danny." But his paperwork spelled his name Dany. Dany was my 11 year old German Shepherd. However, I had only had him for 9 months (since Jan 2010).

I thoroughly enjoyed having Dany as a pet. However, he was diagnosed with cancer last month which spread rapidly until I had to make the decision to put Dany down this week.

This photo is the last picture I have of Dany where he was still mobile and was happy. I have another picture of Dany (when I first got him) that will be the way I will always remember this great companion, but I do like the closeness of this photo also.

Dany was not a great model/poser, but he did obey commands. For this picture, I held his ball (which he just loved) above the iPhone. So he's not so much looking at the camera phone, but waiting for me to toss him the ball... what a great dog Dany...

I'm sorry that you lost your friend and that you had him for such a short time. Pictures are the memories of things that we are not always able to remember clearly. This shot shows personality!

This is echt uber kool. Now that Dany has jumped out of my screen into my living space, what would he like to eat? Text me.

Nice crisp in your face shot and impressive from a camera phone.

Thanks. This iPhone4 has 5mp. I was holding the phone about a foot away from Dany, trying to fill the frame, I think just a touch above his head level.
