| This is a beautiful soft capture of the rose bush. I would have scored this higher if you didn't have the thick black/white border combo around it. 7 |

| Lovely blooms, but maybe not quite enough contrast,'punch', and sharpness to score well on DPC. |

| I feel that this shot lacks a point of sharp focus or clarity. I also think the border is overstated and detracts overall. I do however love the colour balance which squarely meets the challenge, and the overall "mood" of the shot. |
