Topaz Adjust, Topaz DeNoise, Color Balance and a ton of overlays for the scratchy - 'winter chill look' (which is what I was going for...maybe I went overboard)

Taken several years ago with a family trip up to Lake Wales and Bok Tower in December close to the holidays. This shop window had so many tiny houses that I could not resist taking a picture of my eldest looking at them all. Reminds me of those fancy holiday window displays one sees at Macy's in New York ...only smaller.

This is so beautiful in every way! The image itself is wonderful & wistful, and the texture and tones really give the feel of a cold winter chill. Would make a wonderful artsy holiday card!

I really like how the church reflection is framed in one of the windowpanes. Nice B&W and layers.

oh wow! One of my favorites in this side challenge! Beautifully done. :)

I hope life hasn't taken a serious turn, just a busy one. Good luck!

love the scratchy feel to this. It creates a strong contrast between the "warm" atmosphere inside the window while the overlay gives a strong impression of winter winds and blowing snow.

This has that magic of the holidays feeling. She is lost in the daydream of what is going on in her head brought on by the window display. Maybe her life is bleak but this gives her a few moments to forget. I love it.
