 The Jellicle cats, or simply the Jellicles, are a type of feline mentioned in T. S. Eliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats.

Introduced in his poem Song of the Jellicles, they were originally depicted by Eliot as common black-and-white cats whose daytime nature is peaceful, pleasant and restful — but who possess an active love of nightlife.

This is Miles, a friend's kitty. He was curling up in his owner's lap.

I love how you are stepping away from the typical DPC friendly shot and starting with a really creative and therefore interesting image. It works - and you've got me thinking of different things I could attempt.

I have LOTS of Jellicle cats now...:-) This is just GREAT! Love the bold black and white and how the texture and color take over the cat in the upper left... beautiful.
