Sorry can't see the connection between a plastic flmingo and balance. |

Ha- this is great! And the balance is implied - nice sublte touch, everyone should be able to envision a flamingo on one leg or a plastic one on one stick. nice composiiton, nice DOF. |

Nice colors and composition, but with the one leg being merely implied, I don't see it fitting the criteria. Sorry |

Great detail in the foreground but perhaps if we could see more of the birds standing on one leg we would get a better sense of balance. |

Ah! Love it! Great humour, and what a nice shot too; colors, composition, great choice of DOF--this is wonderful. |

Nice composition, whimsical. Shallow DOF is the key. |

Really cool use of the subject matter. The colours are awesome. The composition is excellent. There is nothing subtle about this and it works really well. Even the seam down the middle of the flamingo's head adds to the "drama". I wouldn't hang it on one of my walls but I'm sure there's a night-club or trendy cafe that would. Well Done. |

I really like your use of shallow DOF to draw attention accross to the main subject. The vivid colors and shapes are very attention-grabbing. .... 7 |

Very funny shot, beautiful colors, and DOF. This is one of the few shots this week that both answers the challenge and would not need an explanation if you hung it on your wall. top ten |

I`m not fond of pictures which use toys as props...there`s no real indication of balance in the image..just hinted at in the title....So why do I think this is really good ??
The mix of blue, pink and green in the blurred background is pleasantly complimentary. The head of the "flamingo" with the little highlight above the eye is nicely crisp and sharp in contrast to the background and placed to perfection.
Overall..great image...hope it does well. |

Nice! Funny! Fun composition with the one sharp head backed by the multitude of other. Nice use of narrow DOF. Nice color, light. A top ten IMO! 9 |
