 An HDR macro of some nuts that have fallen off palm trees. I picked them up walking to and from work. The nuts are in a small Japanese bowl on a chopping board in my kitchen.

I am always amazed how the simplest of images can be so engaging, as this one is. Love the details, the tones, the layout, and your choice of texture.

Beautiful tones and colors in this still life. Love the 'frame' that outlines the composition for I think of this as an art painting that appear on serving trays; the ones that you hang as art on the walls or prop up as art to show on a shelf. Very lovely.

A simple bowl of something. I think of Cezanne every time I see any type of still life. His stuff was usually fruit, but still. I like how this is almost etched into a concrete tile. Nice one.
