I apologise for this strange "comment". I must have hit the wrong key when scoring the challenge. The best thing for me about this image is the contrast between the sand and sea/sky, both in colour and texture. It would work just as well for me without the tree. Thanks.

I would really like to see this in monochrome, the textures are great and could look even more striking in b/w...IMO

I like the composition, but there is something lacking. I think it's the wood that seems to merge into the sand.
