"Make it new," was Rimbaud's advice to fellow poets. You have done this simply and admirably here.
-I still think you shouldn't have revealed your magic and left us with pin and glue. ;-) |

I love it, great idea.
I think that B&W is the real photography.

You used the same technique I did for mine -- I had daisies and nails holding them up. But my entry feels garish and overdone in comparison to the simple beauty in yours. The detail is nice. Good job! |

nice, plain, and simple. great shot.....the leaf does not blend into the background and the b/w makes it more of an interesting image! |

My 10 of the challenge. I have nothing to add. Some might comment that the top and the stem are out of focus but I don't hink it affects the quality of the image. Bravo! |

I like this a lot. When I look at the thumbnail, it looks like a dinosaur raising up out of a field of grass. I expected to hate it when I opened it up. What an O'Henry like surprise to open the image and see this stunning b&w macro of a leaf balanced on it's stem. I liked it a lot. Technically, it's a virtually perfect image. With the surprise ending, it's one of the best in class. Top 10 for sure. Good job! |

Simple, beautiful and wonderful clarity. I especially like the color tones you chose for this photo and the DOF, to me, seems spot on. Very nice work. One of my favorites of the challenge.
Just bumped to a 9 :-) |

Beautifully sharp, well exposed and great use of light and shadow. A few artifacts showing around the top of the leaf but doesn`t spoil an excellent image. |
