I thought he was holding a weapon there and look it's this tiny bottle with delicate ornaments... nah, doesn't scare me, sorry :))). Fantastic shot!
But I know what you mean about creating an entry which will "divide the score", or have a double peak in the score breakdown - more 8-10s and 1-4s than 5-7s, or something like that. That would mean nobody is indifferent to your photo. Now that's a real challenge. Scores like that immediately remind me of posthumous winners (look at them, they have similar number of 1s and 10s :).
But seriously - 4 photos down, is that you General Patton, sir? :) |

Amusing capture. Humorous subject. Nice composure. I've no doubt who did this (I think it's mostly cause the eyes remind me of this image //www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=895565 )
The only little nit pick I have about it is that it seems a little over saturated... It's fitting to have a red face for this (I'm assuming you're going for the drunken farming fighting, um, 'theme'?) but his hat seems over-vibrant to me. (I think you might get a few comments about this?)
I wonder if his eyes are a little too clear actually. For a normal portrait they're perfect. But, if I'm right with my assertion of him meant to be brawling after a few too many, shouldn't his eyes be maybe a little blood shot? Or perhaps he's just defending his farm?
Hmm.
I like it. I'd vote it around 6 I think. |

Wow! Talk about ‘in your face’. That’s a great expression and action you’ve captured which I hope ended well :-) |
