 This was an experiment in lighting for me. With a lot of help from Christa, the bored older sister stuck at my house for the weekend as my daughter's very good friend from Hong Kong visited this weekend, I play with four lights on this subject:

60 W Painter's light mounted above and behind
Strong flash mid forward right (IR triggered)
"lower" power fill flash blow center (IR triggered)
On camera flash bounced of ceiling as trigger.

Hard to say how this will do, but I was pleased with the results. Multiple lights is still a new technique for me, and it is fun to fool with.

Don't care much for the title but I love the picture, great composition and lighting. well done. 10, revised the score, best in the challenge, my opinion of course.

I'd work on the shine on ht ewood, but i like the concept. I remember JSetzler's ?private website with something like this maybe- anyway- Ican't get the thought of crash test dummies out of my head.

Great advice and photo : ) Has a nice illustrative quality to it. The lighing seems somewhat bright on the figures, but that may just be the way I see it. Nice work.

Very well done. Lighting is great - composition could not be better. Black background was a perfect choice. The worst part of the submission is the title.
