 Used the Abstract setting on Detail 2.0 and then messed around with what I had a bit. Actually, I had originally used ReMask and was going to just blur the background a bit, but then I wasn't liking the selective application. Applying it to the geese worked, in my opinion, very well.

the splash from the bird foot reminds you that the water is real. love the mottled blend of colors.
