 welcome to my messy home and a pretty boring scene but its a bit like a slice of life ..
yesterday my niece rosannah came over to borrow my spare external flash .. she's scored a magic job as a photographer on a cruise line for 6 months starting in january and needs a flash for the job .. she was going to buy her own but i ended up giving it to her ..
long exposure so i could get the burst of light when her flash fired ..
the painting on the wall was done by my mother and the hula hoops are so i can get a six pack .. lol .. :)

First, what an awesome aunt you are to hand over your extra flash!
I see wonderful processing on an image with a happy niece checking out her new found gear, a flamingo dancer in a red dress with a beard in a cool wall picture, multi-colored hula hoops just waiting to be hula'ed, and lotsa cool reflections...
Slice of life, yes! Boring, not even. I feel like I have been invited into your home :-)

I love this, agree with Jutilda about the nostalgic feeling.

The computer room looks like a hapenin' place! Good luck with the hula hoops, let us know if that works out. Who wouldn't love a six pack? The long exposure & the texture have created an attractive retro feel. Rosannah looks elegant. What a cool job she has landed, that ought to be a blast. "D

I've used an external flash once. Didn't know what to do with it. I go do stuff with SandyPand she knows exactly what to do.

This is cool. So many of these layered images look vintage. I like the sense of nostalgia, even if it was only taken yesterday.

Lucky Rosannah! It's a great looking image Roz. I love to see other people's messy rooms sometimes. Then I don't feel so bad about mine! At least not quite. I've got a couple or three that I wouldn't dream of showing you!
