 Proof of life, as a 12-point buck like this would make a trophy kill for the avid deer hunter ... but this stag lives a protected life at Deer Park (in Windsor Great Park). He was with a herd of 20 or so other males and I waited for a good hour in -2C temps for some of the bigger ones to get separation, so I could isolate one. Only wish I'd had more reach than the 70-200 f/2.8L IS + 1.4x TC; a 600mm f/4L IS would do nicely. ;-) Taken on a frosty cold and foggy morning.
