Ummm... I think I goofed a little...
I looked at the previous life challenges, and LifeIII had lots of birds, and insects, etc, so I went with this shot.
Then I noticed that even though this is Life IV, LifeIII had a different description!! So, I think it celebrates life, but I can see that perhaps others disagree. (I assume that's what the 1s were for...?)

So the moral of the story is, just because a challenge is II, III, IV, etc, doesn't mean it's the same challenge.
That's ok, though -- it's a happy score because it's over 6.0. Thanks, everyone!
By the way, even though this bird is blue, it's not a bluebird -- it's a blue jay. I don't see them often, but they've been hanging out a bit this winter.

| Another top ten (I'm sure it doesn't ever get old!), a good score, no 1's and only one each of 2 and 3. Mostly, though, an exceptionally nice portrait with to-die-for bokeh. Nice! |

Mmmmmm. If I HAD to guess (which I guess I HAVE to), I'd say this might be vawendy's. Mostly because it's a blue bird (not a bluebird), and because it's so dang gorgeous. The lighting is splendid and really helps focus the viewer's eye on the bird's face. Beautiful complementary colors too.
