This is the first time I view a photo with a date stamp on it. I found this very distracting during the vote.
07/27/2004 10:51:20 PM
The time stamp is still on and you have no sharp focus.
07/27/2004 03:54:43 AM
This is a great idea but there are a couple of things that would improve it. Firstly the main bar of chocolate is out of focus and that makes it kinda hard to look at also loose the date from the camera it is very distracting.
07/27/2004 03:53:48 AM
Good concept but either background or foreground should have been in focus.
07/27/2004 02:41:59 AM
slightly out of focus
07/27/2004 02:16:38 AM
As much as this is a good idea, the focus is off. Nothing is really in focus. The choice I believe would have been the bite marks of the chocolate. Heard it already, I imagine,You can turn off the date stamp.
07/26/2004 08:45:08 PM
Take the date stamp off! Also, what is in focus?
07/26/2004 07:03:03 PM
It would have been better to have the subject( the Herseys's) in foucs.
Please turn the date format on the camera off, it just destroyes the photo.

More Focus

Too much of soft focus. Background uninspiring. Remove date from image. Nice color and saturation of chocolate bar, though.
07/24/2004 11:46:41 PM
out of focus
07/24/2004 05:41:34 AM
I quite like the composition. The focus is a bit soft. I think it needs sharper focus on the foreground subject. The date stamp detracts from the image. Well thought out and composed though.

Decent idea, but the shot is a little out of focus -- also the date in the lower right hand corner's got to go!
07/23/2004 03:12:14 PM
This photo saddens me because I like it a lot, but there are a few serious problems with it. First, it's extremely blurry. Out of focus, probably. I would have focused on the chocolate bar with the bit out of it in the foreground. Second, there is that ugly date stamp on it. What's with that? I've never seem that in a challenge entry before.

What kind of camera stamps the images with a date?! Maybe a video camera?

Great idea & composition. Unfortunately, technical problems kill it.
07/23/2004 06:46:27 AM
The idea is nice but nothing's on focus (with the exeption of the date :-) )
You shold work on it to get a better photo.
07/22/2004 11:37:41 PM
Nice concept but needs some focus.
07/22/2004 06:11:50 AM
Focus is soft, but a good composition
07/21/2004 06:09:02 PM
crop the date out perhaps? and focus more...
07/21/2004 04:28:23 PM
The date stamp really detracts from this image...
07/21/2004 03:34:13 PM
Rule #1 Focus the image properly .. Rule #2 Don't leave the date on the picture
07/21/2004 03:17:39 PM
What's in focus? for me the front bar should be.
07/21/2004 02:44:06 PM
turn the date off please
07/21/2004 02:00:42 PM
A great composition... just needs to be in focus!
07/21/2004 01:49:12 PM
I know it is difficult to make really interesting photo of chocolate. But your is not in good focus and you should try to get rid of the date of pictures you are posting.
07/21/2004 01:33:55 PM
Nothing in focus - never have a time stamp on a digital photo.
07/21/2004 12:36:48 PM
the idea is fine but you need better focal controll and you MUST get that date off your exposure! colors and lighting look fine. good composition.
07/21/2004 10:55:30 AM
Alittle too blurry for my taste. Having one of the objects in focus would have been cool.
07/21/2004 09:45:07 AM
maybe removing the date would have helped ..... and i would have put something in focus !!
07/21/2004 02:21:17 AM
I think your picture is out of focus or it was the idea?
07/21/2004 01:43:58 AM
Wow! The date stamp really adds to this composition. Oops, I meant to say adds nothing to this composition.
Could you really not be bothered to do a reshoot without the date? While you were at it you could have made sure it was in focus. Sorry if this is harsh but this is just too careless to even consider.

07/21/2004 01:10:40 AM
Where is your focus? I think it would of worked a bit better with less dof. All the best.
07/21/2004 12:24:35 AM
something needs to be in focus. The date from your camera certainly doesn't add any artistic value either...
