I just wanted to thank all who commented on my photo. This was my best finish yet (by score, not placement). I got so many wonderful comments from so many people who I highly respect as photographers. For those of you who took the time after the challenge to post a comment, a special thanks as well. I just happened to come back to my picture tonight not expecting ANY after challenge comments, only to find four more. Very rewarding. Again, my thanks! |

i thought i commented on this during the challenge, but i didn't. i gave you a 10, the only one i handed out in this challenge. i just think the composition is fabulous. some people complained about the graininess, but i like it... it makes it appear more like a painting... art... :) great job. |

I didn't get to comment during the challenge, but this was my favorite photo in the chocolate competition. Excellent work :) |

Congratulations on your 16th placing. A very dynamic and above average capture. Very well thought out and very interesting effect. |

Image is a little too grainy for my tastes, but good idea! Did you have to clean your lens afterwards? =) |

I like it. Perhaps if the ISO had been slightly lower as it seems a little grainy? |

I like this shot. 9 but it's a bit grainy I think a sharper focus would have been better. |

Superb idea - the swirls make for a nice composition and feel. Did you try your light at different angles to limit the glare on the (left) blades? (That's the only problem with your attempt.)

I love the idea. Could've benefitted from stronger light source?? |

Sort of appreciate the border because the little bit of white around the picture seems to pop it out a little. Excellent photo, I think this will be in my top picks. There is a little bit of distracting something on the whip in front there, but other than that I think this is really interesting, hope you're lens is o.k and not too chocolatey. |

I like the motion in this! Creative. I also like how the silver reflects the chocolate color so you get all those little lines with chocolate tones. If you had held it still for part of the exposure would you get more definition and a more solid sense of the beater and the chocoate as well as the motion? Or a flash to stop the motion and get a solid image on top of the blur? 6 |

Love the movement - very nice. The reflection of light is wonderful. I'd like the whisk stems to be more accurately vertical. I like the strong grain. Wonderful image! |

While I like the idea, a wider shot would work better here, since we can't really see any clear chocolate. Good motion capture. Very grainy image, not sure if that was your intent, but it takes away from the smoothness of the chocolate in the bottom corner. |

This is a very clever concept. I would have liked to have seen more of the rippling chocolate. Or put another way, I would like to see this image not cropped quite so tight. |

This is a cool shot - but its ruined by all that grain! One run through neatimage and it would be awesome! 6 |
