3 million light years away from Milky Way, this galaxy is one of my favorite DSO's, and a difficult one to image. I tried to reveal as better as I could the Ha regions of nebulosity at the spiral arms.

Telescope : Takahashi FSQ106ED
Mount : Takahashi EM200 Temma II Jr
Camera : Canon 350D Baader modified with Hutech IDAS LPS, autoguided with PHD

Exposures :
27 x 182 sec Lights (ISO800) , 2008-09-05
9 x 242 sec Lights (ISO800) , 2009-09-23
12 Darks frames
12 Bias frames
were aligned, calibrated and stacked in DSS for this final composite image (88.59% of the original FOV)
