First time I tried to make this.

Take some holly leaves, wash and dry and put them in the freezer for 10 minutes.

Melt chocolate bain-marie, put the shiny side of the leaves in the chocolate and put it for an hour in the fridge.

The photo is made with the leaves still on the chocolate. I broke some when I tried to remove the leaves later.

The whole plate looks very festive. The chocolate holly leaves are a great idea but it sounds like the theory is more effective than the practice. Did you successfully separate any of them?
