 The city of Zwolle. Well pleased with the response this image received. Did anyone notice the Christmas tree just behind the tower on the opposite bank of the canal?

Was looking forward to seeing this on the front page for the next week, but ot too be. Nonetheless, an HM is good. Love the photo, but the series of three as a whole is absolutely cracking. You must get these printed large (maybe canvases) and have them hanging on your wall!

This is awesome. Good thing for the quotes because this title didn't jump out at me. Wonderful composition and beautiful scene. I'm envious as well, as I haven't seen blue skies like that down here in Germany in at least a month. Beautiful.

I love this perspective, it is a powerful shot with everything going on but it seems very flat. It lacks defined shadows and colors. I think this would have been a 8 or 9 if it was a different time of day that allowed shadows from the boats or the building to be more defined on the ice.
I love this angle so much that I had to give it a 7 at least for the fact that it almost seems like the old generation vs the new. You have the castle and old sail style boats on the right and middle vs the new cars on the left and town style houses. Great location
