 I also like the weak colors in the original, but here I converted to B&W and used color balance to introduce the blue tone, which gives the dreamy aspect I wanted. Furthermore a tiny amount of curves in order to increase the contrast of the tree in the left foreground. USM & resized.

Oh what a stellar misty moment. I love that I can just make out the almost skeletal branches in the foreground. Beautifully done.
