A little newt I found. Obviously I wish it were sharper, but I can't turn the clock back 7 years. Still one of my favorite photos.

I'm enjoying your DSC-F707 images, this camera was my first serious digital camera & I wore it out. The Newt looks so cute, wearing the leaf-hat. Good work PP.

Love it - like a silent film newt. So dramatique.

I like that it isn't in focus as well. I think it brings some nice mystery to the image in addition to the black and white.

I'm glad it isn't any sharper, leaves enough so you know what it is, but enough so you have to think about the rest.

It does look like an ultrasound photo of a newt wearing a beret, lovely soft feel about it. I wouldn't change it at all.

Great POV. He really is a shy little critter. Terrific deception created with the B&W conversion.

That's very pretty - and the lack of sharpness suits the image. The mono conversion works well on this one.

i can see what looks like a flower on the rhs and i'm thinking the newt is sort'v hiding behind it .. wearing it like a cap .. does the newt look like a baby ?!!
