When I was thinking of a shot for this challenge, I was also putting away Christmas decorations. Under a table, way in the corner, I found bits of leftover wrapping paper that the cat had taken under to play with and had shredded. Bits and Pieces of paper, all that was left behind of Christmas.
And, yes, the colours ARE washed out because I was attempting to portray the "fading" of the Christmas season from our minds just as these pieces are left behind. BUT, I guess I went too "deep" yet again for DPC challenges. Must remember, brightly coloured, solitary objects in pretty backgrounds, no real deep meaning. :(
